Your account and household

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access links, and inviting only people who should see the selected household records. Early-access accounts may be limited, changed, or withdrawn while the service is being tested.

Your records remain yours

You retain rights to the home information, photos, documents, recipes, and notes you add. You give Homestead permission to store, process, display, export, and share that content only as needed to operate the service and the actions you authorize.

Guidance is not professional advice

Reminders, estimates, public-record context, weather, generated suggestions, and maintenance guidance are organizational aids. They do not replace an inspection, survey, appraisal, licensed trade, legal, insurance, medical, or emergency service. Confirm safety-critical work with a qualified professional.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, probe other households, upload unlawful content, interfere with availability, or use a shared link beyond the permission its owner granted. We may suspend access needed to protect people, records, or the service.

Availability, changes, and responsibility

Homestead is provided on an as-available basis during early access. To the extent permitted by law, Homestead is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from unavailable providers, incomplete records, missed reminders, or decisions made without independent verification.

Material changes will be dated here. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the updated terms; if you disagree, stop using the service and use the available export or deletion controls.
